3. Order Processing & Fulfillment

📦 Processing Time

All orders are processed within 24 to 72 business hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

⚠️ Processing time refers to order preparation only, not shipping time.


🥬 Perishable Products

Orders containing perishable items are shipped only on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure product quality and freshness upon delivery.


📦 Stock Availability & Substitutions

In some cases:

• An item may be temporarily out of stock during order preparation
• New inventory may be in transit to our facility

In such situations:

✔️ We may delay the order slightly to restock the item
✔️ We may replace the item with a similar product (same category, different brand or size)

📌 The customer will be notified accordingly when applicable.


4. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping times provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

• Carrier issues (UPS, USPS, etc.)
• Weather conditions
• High seasonal demand
• External factors beyond our control

• Caribbean Eat is not responsible for carrier delays once the package has been shipped
• Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information

We are not liable for:

• Lost or delayed packages due to incorrect address input
• Delivery issues caused by third-party carriers


🤝 Carrier Claims Support

While we are not responsible for carrier performance, we are committed to supporting our customers when issues arise.

✔️ We may assist in submitting claims with the shipping carrier and/or insurance provider
✔️ This applies only when the customer complies with all required conditions (documentation, photos, timelines, etc.)

⚠️ Please note:

• Claim approval is determined solely by the carrier and/or insurance provider
• We must follow their processes, timelines, and requirements
• Not all cases qualify for compensation


5. Returns & Refunds

Our Return & Refund Policy is part of these Terms of Service.

By placing an order, you agree to the conditions outlined in that policy.


6. Customer Responsibility

By purchasing from our store, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Monitor your order status and tracking updates
• Secure your delivery location once the package is marked as delivered

You are responsible for all activity under your account.
